Gungahlin Town Centre is at the heart of the Gungahlin region which is home to approximately 90,000 residents. The bustling Town Centre offers the key components of a vibrant community, including schools, a library, medical services, commercial services, employment opportunities, cafés, restaurants, bars, special retailers and department stores. The light rail serves to connect the Town Centre with the City and the various services and attractions along the route, providing a fast and easy transport option.
A big attraction for visitors to the Gungahlin Town Centre is its ‘urban village’ atmosphere. There’s a relaxed shopping environment, combined with an urban nightlife scene which includes restaurants and cafes.

Gungahlin Town Centre East is a large, mostly undeveloped precinct of the Town Centre. Adopting a place-based approach to guide the development of this precinct, Suburban Land Agency (SLA) engaged with the community to capture their priorities and aspirations.
