Lawson’s only mixed-use site will be guided by community vision

Suburban Land Agency recently invited Canberrans to express what they would value and hope to see in the development of Lawson’s only Mixed-use site. A site with both commercial and residential development opportunity.

This feedback informed the Place Design Brief, setting out the community aspirations to ensure that the site (Block a and b Section AD Lawson) can develop into a liveable, green and vibrant hub that supports the local neighbourhood.

The purpose of the Place Design Brief is to guide developers, architects, landscape architects and urban designers in preparing a development proposal that responds to the site’s unique attributes, contributes positively to living in Lawson and meets the community’s needs.
