Gold Creek Homestead Development Application approved

In May 2023 a significant milestone has been reached with the settlement of the Gold Creek Homestead Precinct site. Earlier in the year the Development Application (DA) was approved by the Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate (EPSDD), and during the process, a Statement of Heritage Effects (SHE) was approved in relation to the discovery of Aboriginal objects.
The cultural objects have been respectfully salvaged from site and currently under archaeological analysis. With this important step completed, Lendlease are now able to move forward with the civil works on the balance of land outside of the salvage works area, which are scheduled to commence in July 2023.
