Summer Sounds - Blue Gumbo

Blue Gumbo are a collective of Canberra jazz musicians, serving up a hearty mix of traditional and modern jazz beats. Typically forming an 8-piece ensemble, the band comprises a backline rhythm and bass section, topped with a variety of horns. Drawing from the New Orleans jazz tradition, through swing and bebop to the modern era, Blue Gumbo's music is as varied and spicy as the southern dish that is their namesake.
