Since ten years she has been building a body of work of mixed media paintings that use acrylic, water colour, pencil and pen, to create colorful, poetic palimpsests for her figures.
A principal theme in her works is the interconnected nature of living forms with the eternal; how the unique dialogue between them is expressed in a symbolic language. (Some of her visual influences include Del Kathryn Barton; Susan Sedon Boulet; Serena Cole; Escher and Egon Schiele).
To date, Erin has held two solo exhibitions (2014 and 2019, Canberra) and has completed a number of portraits for commission (2015 & 2018) of local families and friends.
In 2019 she completed her first mural (4mx 4m) for Praksis Movement Studio in Canberra, that translated her complex and detailed imagery to a large scale.
