Housing Development Guide

Your home must be designed in accordance with these guidelines. This guide contains information of the blocks within the estate and block specific requirements for each block. This includes block details plans which include contours and block fill plans.

Block Details Plans

This plan shows contours, easements and other information related to specific blocks of land. Each block has a ‘block number’ and a ‘section number’, which allows it to be uniquely identified compared to all the other blocks in the suburb. Your block number is not the same as your street number. The Block Details Plan is available from the Suburban Land Agency.

Block fill plans

This plan shows the amount of cut and fill (measured in metres) for different blocks of land. This is important for understanding what is in the ground on your block. The Block Fill Plan is available from the Suburban Land Agency.

Deposited Plans

The Deposited Plan means the plan relating to the land and registered under Section 7 of the Districts Act 2002 (ACT). This defines the legal boundaries of land and often records subdivisions and easements. You can find your deposited plan by contacting Access Canberra. View the Deposited Plans by clicking on the links below.

Housing Development Guide

The Housing Development Guide has been broken up into the below five documents. All five documents are to be read in conjunction with each over; document “Housing Development Guide Stage 2 Part 1 – Amendment 3” should be read first and supersede some of the information found within attachments A to D.

Please note information within the Housing Development Guide is subject to change. Whilst every effort has been expended to ensure the accuracy of the data prospective buyers and purchasers should conduct their own due diligence applicable to land purchase.
