Art Exhibition: Pivot/al
April to August at SLA's Display Homes, Whitlam
Check out ‘Pivot/al’, the first BelcoArts Exhibition in Whitlam. It showcases a selection of artworks and functional ware on display at the SLA display homes. This exhibition features seven artists’ works including: ceramics, photography, glass, print and painting.
‘Pivot/al’ represents the “pivot” from working full-time to practicing art and the ‘pivotal’ moments that have impacted their practice over time. The artworks were chosen to inspire reflection on the idea of living with art, through a juxtaposition of mediums, styles, and subject matters. The art pieces are material driven, textural, bold and with a focus on the hand of the maker being present, creating a dynamic and diverse collection of contemporary art in a modern sustainable domestic setting.
