Our CEO
Adam Davey, CEO
Adam joins SLA with a wealth of experience in executive positions both in the Commonwealth government and private sector since 2011. Adam has come from the ACT Government’s Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive General Manager for Corporate Services & Operations.
Adam’s experience spans from executive leadership roles to operational and governance positions. His most recent employment was the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust (Australia) CEO for a period of seven years.
Our boardroom
Our governing board members oversee all operations at SLA. They have experience in:
- Australian-based and international land development
- major infrastructure construction and civil works
- public administration governance
- the not-for-profit housing sector and environmentally sustainable development.
Jennifer Cunich, Chair
Jennifer Cunich is a property industry leader with more than 30 years' experience in industry and professional organisations, serving as a trusted adviser to state and national governments. She brings extensive knowledge of development and building industries, with skills spanning leadership, financial literacy, corporate finance, risk management, and master planning communities. Jennifer is a former Non-Executive Director of the Victorian Planning Authority and former Chairperson of the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute. She was appointed as SLA Chairperson in June 2024.
Anna Peters
Anna Peters is a senior property development and investment leader with over 20 years' experience delivering complex, city-shaping projects across Australia, having worked with organisations including Brookfield, GPT, Charter Hall, Cbus Property and Gersh Investment Partners. She currently advises international rail operator MTR Corporation on their Australian real estate expansion and is recognised for bridging the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. Anna is Deputy Chair of the Suburban Land Agency and a Non-Executive Director of Common Equity Housing Limited. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Property Economics, a Bachelor of Design, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Guy Gibson
Guy Gibson has a long career in town planning and urban development, including 25 years with Lendlease where he held senior roles across Queensland and national responsibilities in Government Relations, Affordable Housing and Sustainability. Prior to Lendlease, he served as Director of Town Planning at Brisbane City Council and worked for the National Capital Development Commission in Canberra. Guy is an Honorary Life Member and past President of the Property Council of Australia (Queensland), and a Board Member of Brisbane Sustainability Agency and Suburban Futures. He is a member of AICD.
Adrian Harrington
Adrian Harrington has 35 years of experience across funds management, real estate, government and the not-for-profit sectors, and is currently Chair of Charter Hall Direct Property Management, overseeing more than $10 billion in property funds, a Non-Executive Director of Keyton Retirement Villages and Deputy Chair of the University of Canberra’s Planning and Development Committee. He has a strong passion for social, affordable and disability housing, and is the Investment Committee Chair of Inclusive Housing Australia and NSW Chair of Housing All Australians. Adrian is the former Chair of Housing Australia and the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute. He is a Life Member of the NSW Division of the Property Council of Australia.
