The Mingle community development program has been running in Wright and Coombs for a number of years.

The program is run by the Suburban Land Agency in partnership with Communities@Work and has included a range of events, activities and supported community initiatives.

Mingle is aimed at building a vibrant, strong and sustainable community.

To support all residents in the best possible way, we want to know what has worked and what could be improved in the future.

For this we need your help!

Over the next two months, an evaluation will be led by Elton Consulting and we will be reviewing all aspects of the program. There will be a series of focus groups, a community wide survey and interviews with residents and stakeholders. A final report will be made available later in the year.

Focus Groups 

Elton Consulting will run a series of focus groups to understand your thoughts on Mingle as well as how you feel about living in Wright and Coombs. Each session will go for 1 hour and all attendees will be given $80 in appreciation of their time.

Places are limited and we are aiming to get a broad range of community members to participate, including those who’ve never been to a Mingle event before.

These groups are open to residents of Wright and Coombs who are 14 years or older. Find out more and register your interest at

A community survey is available online and will close on Monday 6 August 2018. Your input will provide valuable information to help us improve Mingle. By completing all survey questions participants will have the chance to win a $800 Visa gift card. Find out more and complete the survey online at

Elton Consulting is conducting all research on behalf of the Suburban Land Agency. Suburban Land Agency staff and Communities@Work staff will not be in attendance at the focus groups or interviews. All individual responses will remain anonymous.
