What you can expect at the opening:

Educational demonstrations including:

  • Sustainability Showcases of Suburban Land Agency’s Demonstration Homes, hosted by Parks and Conservation, Sustainable Household Loan Scheme (EPSDD) and
    No Waste (TCCS).
  • Ngunnawal storytelling and painting with Kane Allan and traditional cooking demonstrations with Shanice Allan.

Ngunnawal learning including:

  • a Welcome to Country and smoking ceremonies by Richie Allan.
  • live mural painting of the ‘Story of Whitlam’ and Walks on Country with Richie Allan.

Entertainment including:

  • all-day performances from local musicians
  • live Sustainable Sculpture building, that you can try your hand at!

Whitlam sales information including:

  • bus tours of the suburb, happening every 15 minutes!
  • land sales information sessions in Suburban Land Agency’s dedicated Sales Suite
  • display village open homes with the opportunity to chat with the builders.

Community activities including:

  • family craft with Suburban Land Agency’s community team, Mingle
  • native planting in Suburban Land Agency’s innovation precinct’s garden.
