The next section of Lawson, Lawson Two, will be released as an Englobo development opportunity late June 2018, to be sold via a two stage Expression of Interest and Tender process. Developers are invited to purchase 43.16 hectares of land within walking distance to schools, the University of Canberra, GIO Stadium and Calvary Hospital.

The site offers an opportunity to build up to 940 dwellings in Multi Units, across nine blocks at a maximum of six storeys high. The purchaser will be responsible for construction of civil infrastructure and surrounding high-quality landscaping, as well as consulting and engaging the community throughout the project.

In line with the City Renewal and Suburban Land Agency Act 2017, Lawson Two will deliver 80 affordable housing, 24 Public Housing and 20 Community Housing dwellings. The community will have an opportunity to comment on the project as it moves through the Development Application process.
