Community Coffee Crawl

Saturday 23 May 2020
9:30am - 12:30pm

Mingle is bringing coffee to you. With so many acts of kindness in your community over the last few weeks, we thought it was time to celebrate the local Moncrieff community.

What is the Community Coffee Crawl?

Follow our Facebook page and nominate your street to have a coffee van visit for one day only. The three streets with the most nominations will go into the draw to WIN!

Tag a Moncrieff resident that has been your friend and neighbour for you both to receive a free coffee. Shout a coffee to a neighbour that deserves a little treat.

The Community Coffee Crawl streets will be announced on Friday 22 May and posted on the Moncrieff Mingle Facebook page.

Each location will feature the Community Coffee for around 30 minutes to an hour as it crawls through your suburb.

*Offer only available to residents of Moncrieff.

6:30pm – 8:00 pm
Dawson Park, Slim Dusty Circuit Moncrieff

Join us for a night under the stars run by the Canberra Astronomical Society. With a new moon making for darker skies and this is a great opportunity to look through a telescope at the night sky.

Come rugged up in winter warmers and bring along a torch and some cash to buy a warm drink from the coffee van. The Canberra Astronomical Society will set up a number of large telescopes for you to look through, however you are welcome to bring your own as well if you would like.

We will now be running 2 sessions over the night:
- 6.35pm to 7.10pm
- 7.15pm to 7.50pm

The event is free of charge although as it is run by volunteers those wishing to make a gold-coin donation can do so on the night.

Please be aware there are no toilets facilities at the park.

Spots in each session are limited, so make sure you register early to confirm your space.

Registering for the event will also make sure you are kept up to date with details, including a detailed email a week before.

Please note this event is intended for the Moncrieff Community.
