Stromlo Cottage

Saturday 23 Feb 19
Stromlo Cottage, Noffs Cres Coombs

Saying farewell to the end of summer has become a tradition for Wright and Coombs and we are looking forward to continuing this in 2019.

Join your community for a relaxing evening in the beautiful grounds of Stromlo Cottage as you listen along to the sounds of local Canberra musicians, Darcy Welsh and Mickey Sulit.

Bring along your picnic blanket and some nibbles.

Lenton pop up bar will be there serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

We are also excited to have Grease Monkey serving burgers and the Sweet Tooth Society with amazing sweet sensations!

This is a ticketed event, so make sure you register via eventbrite -

Please note that as alcohol will be served at this event, all children under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by an adult. Due to the large number of attendees expected at this event, we ask that you leave your furry friends at home.

If you have any questions about the event, please contact the Mingle Team on

Molonglo Valley Cultural Cookbook

Mingle is working on an exciting new initiative for the Molonglo Valley community. In partnership with Charles Weston School and the wider community we would like to produce a Cultural Cookbook featuring recipes and stories from around the world. The content of this book is collated from resident cultures embedded in the Molonglo Valley.

The idea of this project came about when there was an interest among many students, families and staff at Charles Weston School to gain a deeper understanding of the many cultural backgrounds were within the community. The production of this book will aim to connect, understand and celebrate the diversity within students, families, staff and the broader Molonglo Valley Community.

We have received a number of amazing recipes from the community, and would love more! Send us your favourite recipe by filing out the form at or email us at
