Wright Community Book Box Launch

Sips & SoundsFriday 16 February 2018
8am to 8.45am
Link Park, Dot Butler Street, Wright (near Peter Cullen Way)

We’re so excited to be launching the second community book box in the Molonglo Valley and we hope you can join us for the official launch!

Bring along a book to swap for a delicious muffin on your way to work or school. San from Our Dream Café will also have his coffee and famous hot chocolates on offer.

After the success of the book box in Coombs a group of residents have come together and built a second book box, and this one will be located in Link Park in Wright. The design has been inspired by the Pink-tailed worm-lizard and the book box looks amazing - a great job by everyone involved!

A book box works as a free book exchange where you can come together to meet and share books. Residents are invited to pick up a book (or two or three) to take home and enjoy, or to place any books they would like to share with their community. The book box is designed to be used by all ages, so it is important that any books shared are appropriate.

Read more about the first Molonglo Valley book box here.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the book box please email

We hope you can join us for the official launch and that you enjoy your new community book box!
