Regular activities at Stromlo Cottage

  • Every Wednesday – Young at Heart

Our local communities are at the heart of what we do as the Suburban Land Agency Mingle team. So at this time, during the COVID-19 outbreak, we’ve got your community health and safety in mind. Some Mingle events and activities have been postponed whilst other Mingle events may be cancelled (see below for details of postponed/cancelled upcoming events). But our commitment to you in the community will continue in other avenues. We’re putting our thinking caps on to come up with some clever ways to remain connected. You'll be hearing from us very soon through our usual channels; our Facebook page, website, notes in your letterbox or email messages. The easiest way to keep up to date is by visiting our @MolongloValleyMingle Facebook page.

Young at Heart - Friendship Group

Young at Heart

Every Wednesday, 10am - 12pm
Stromlo Cottage, Noffs Crescent Coombs

Every Wednesday morning, residents of Wright and Coombs meet for a chat and a coffee or tea – whichever is their preference. We are a friendly bunch of mature age residents who are creating new friendships in our new community and we would love to see more residents join us. There is no commitment to be there every week, no joining fee just come along and meet your neighbours. We try to also arrange a couple of outings. Recently we went to visit the Recycling Discovery Hub as well as Geoscience which was extremely interesting and informative. We will continue to arrange a few outings in and around Canberra. If you are interested in coming along, we will see you at the Cottage Wednesday morning.
